Bioweapons In Ukraine? Now You Say ‘Em, Now You Don’t

A Fox News report that a senior Biden official told a Senate hearing the US is “working with Ukraine” to hide “bioweapons” from invading Russians touched off yet another PR War in which WH’s mouthpiece scrambled to debunk “the debunked” Putin “misinformation.” At stake, of course, is the dictator using such misinformation against the Ukrainians ala Bush’s bogus Weapons of Mass Destruction allegation to justify invading Iraq.
Let’s use the WSJ account to listen in to WH Press Sec. Jan “The Truth” Psaki’s counter punch to renewed Russian claims of bioweapons in Ukraine and Fox's Tucker Carlson’s coverage of Under Secretary of State Victoria Nuland’s stunning testimony before the Foreign Relations Cte when Sen. Marco Rubio had asked her if “bioweapons” were in Ukraine: “Similar allegations about work on a chemical weapons program in Ukraine ‘have been debunked,” Psaki said, adding that the claim is ‘an example of the types of false pretexts we have been warning the Russians would invent.’”
Got it, Jan. The idea of bioweapons in Ukraine with US funding is goofy. in Wuhan, China, too. The WSJ goes on to quote various US officials as saying the only bio “research” the US does in Ukraine is related to disease control or “bio safety” ala the coronavirus and other deadly diseases like HIV. Oh, tuberculosis, too. But, Tucker doubled down. What about your Under Secretary of State’s testimony in Congress, he asked in a follow up monologue? Latest Administration excuse suggests “maybe” there’s some “left over” bioweaponry from the Soviet break up. Huh? As Tucker wondered, “it takes 17 years” to clean up the Russkies’ bio trash? Can this administration get a story straight? Without giggling? Or, is Putin right in suggesting Mr. Biden et al lie as much as HE does?
