Epstein Scandal's "(Un) Happy Ending”

Letter to Ephesians: Still waiting for the Epstein semantics war (aka “list” vs “files” verbiage) to be called out for what it is: A lesson in responsibility. Publish ALL the creep’s info as many demand? And ruin how many lives, innocents included, because the creep made notes on targets?

To be sure, AG Bondi especially fell into the trap of over-selling the criminal investigation into the Epstein scandal by using the (supposedly now erroneous) term “list” in doing so, one that suggests a neat and clean inventory of proven fellow creeps. But, if so, I always wondered how Epstein could be so inept in running his creep show, it being obvious how such a precise catalog of criminal wrongdoing could and would one day be used AGAINST him. No, a smart creep might perhaps compile “files” on his or her targets but make sure it looked as much as possible like normal business intelligence on “potential” as well as “actual” clients ... due diligence background information that could on a moment’s notice be transformed into lethal weapons or destroyed in the confusion of a breaking scandal.

In any case, the Epstein “files,” whatever they consist of, are presumably still in Justice’s hands so that provable criminal conduct can be prosecuted in the ordinary course of Due Process. Now that we’re embarrassingly told the “list” doesn’t exist after all, is it a stretch to be insisting that Justice follow up on those included in the “files” that contain enough real evidence to fairly indict the still “accused” creeps?
