Gas Prices Soar In Renewable Energy’s Afghan Moment

As pump prices keep zooming it’s hard not to ridicule the Afghanistan-like naivety behind the WSJ’s “Behind the Energy Crisis [is that] Fossil Fuel Investment Drops [while] Renewables Aren’t Ready.”

What a shock. Noted the newspaper: “The transition to cleaner energy sources isn’t far enough along to meet a surge in demand.” Add to that the Biden crusade to end pipelines & fracking and you have the perfect storm topped by wildly rising prices.

The WSJ article goes on to analyze how tough & costly the “transition” to renewables switch has proven to be … yet … it was obvious from the beginning that you don’t pull out the troops from Afghanistan before making sure all the US civilians were safely brought home first.
