Have Epstein Dems Learned What To Wish For?

Letter to Romans: Dems’ demand for the release of “Epstein Documents” has often boomeranged on THEM. Still, many insist on DOJ indictments, though USA isn’t Iran, Russia or China so that mere mentions or “ties” aren’t enough to ruin a life let alone charge.
Will opportunistic yet foolish politicians ever learn? The WSJ’s op ed … appropriately titled, “Lately the Epstein Files Are Hitting Democrats Hardest” … suggest they won’t. Recall in recent weeks how Democrats ramped up their PR campaign to tag President Trump’s “past” with the creep, only to find still more proof in the supposedly damning docs that it was TRUMP who had almost single-handedly campaigned to expose his illicit trade in sin. And no thanks to the Epstein-riddled Clintons. While throwing her husband Bill under the bus, Hillary Clinton yet again insisted in “secret” congressional testimony that the Republicans were still somehow “covering up” for No. 47. Never mind that President Clinton would reportedly go on to tell the same committee he knew nothing of any such bad Trump behavior with Epstein. And now the WSJ tells us, “The unusual testimony of the Clintons came after several party power brokers lost prestigious jobs because of ties to the sex offender.”
So why aren’t there more Epstein related indictments? Maybe it’s time for a time out reminder. Under America’s unique jurisprudence (note the included word “prudence”) a person is presumed innocent of criminal conduct until proven beyond a reasonable doubt. Unlike in most countries (yes, even in jolly old England) prosecutors & judges in the good old USA are sworn to bear that bedrock principle in mind when considering whether to either charge or indict via a grand jury. Without the requisite or at least adequate proof, they shouldn’t dare ruin an accused’s life. True, in Iran, Russia or China, hundreds of men accused of “ties” to Epstein would not only be rotting in jails or even executed by now. But, alas, this isn’t’ Iran, Russia or China … or England.
