Holy Smollett, Another Anti-ICE & Cop Hoax?

Letter to Romans: Chicago hasn’t forgotten Jussie Smollett but an alleged female hoaxer may have out did him by wailing how ICE & cops had detained & played ping pong with her for 43 hrs tho surveillance vids show her enjoying a 2-day “spa” outing in a Windy City burb.

It sounds complicated while it’s maybe not so much. As Fox News related the still unfolding story, Sheriff Dale Schmidt of Dodge, Wisconsin felt compelled to file a defamation lawsuit against a Skokie woman & citizen he said fabricated a horrific ordeal. “Sunny” Naqvi insists federal cops detained her in TWO states, including Schmidt’s jail, ostensibly as part of an ICE sweep for illegals that started at Chicago’s O’Hare International Airport. Cook County Commissioner Kevin Morrison fell for the claim that Naqvi & 5 others were transported across state lines by ICE and accused the sheriff’s office of a “cover-up” and “lying” by not backing her abduction claims. ABC TV & the Chicago Sun-Times also ran stories on the sordid tale without bothering to include “alleged” jailing in its headlines or coverage. That, even tho the Wisconsin sheriff & DHS “investigators pointed to hotel records, airport surveillance video & text messages that contradict her claims.” In fact, they say, there is no record of her having been jailed by anyone, anywhere. Instead, DHS & the sheriff says she waltzed out of the airport free as a bird & proceeded to nearby Rosemont’s Hampton Inn & Suites where for two days she conducted business & made multiple charges for room service, even inquiried about the hotel’s spa availability. She may have taken a side trip to Wisconsin, but surveillance vids & other public records show it was voluntary, with a companion, & long after she was supposedly in ICE custody. The Sheriff also pointed to a prior investigation based on Naqvi’s claim to have been sexually assaulted that proved to be false.

“They came after the wrong Sheriff,” Schnidt told Fox. “I’m tired of the narrative out there” being furthered by the MSM, anti-law enforcement pols & Sanctuary activists. He said local prosecutors were reluctant to file charges against Naqvi & that’s why he felt compelled to file his defamation suit in federal court. “Other defendants might be added to the suit,” he warned.
