Justice Jackson’s “Dredful” Grammy Clap Trap

Letter to Romans: A Senator asked the Sup Ct to investigate Justice Jackson over her public applauding of leftists’ anti-ICE rhetoric. But we’re stuck with the broke woke Justice just as US was stuck with the Justice responsible for the dreadful Dred Scott ruling.

That is, unless evidence emerges that Justice Jackson has committed an impeachable crime, she’s not going anywhere until she retires or resigns. The fact is, Justice Jackson, in published opinions as well as other public comments, has long made it clear she’s a far left progressive who believes the US Constitution is a “living document” that’s amendable by judicial fiat & without the necessity of going through the Founding Fathers’ required Amendment Process. Does that sound like one who’s going to resign because Tennessee Senator Blackburn tells Chief Judge Roberts to investigate the pathetic sight of her applauding anti-Administration speeches made by clueless Grammy winners?

Unfortunately, the nation has been burdened with a few Justices that history has proven terribly wrong. My favorite example (one black Justice Jackson might agree with) would be Chief Justice Tawney, who in the 1857 case of Dred Scott v Sandford actually opined that no black man had a constitutional right any white man need honor. Now, Justice Jackson may not privately like the way ICE is enforcing the US immigration laws, but when she publicly shows approval of televised commentary arguing ICE has no constitutional right to enforce those laws as determined by the Commander in Chief, it smacks of bias. Here’s the problem: Many of those so-called protesters have been charged with serious crimes & the court cases may very well wind up before the US Supreme Court. If Justice Jackson has any sense left, she’d recuse herself from helping decide those cases.
