Letter to Ephesians: Idaho killer Bryan Kohberger DEMANDS prison transfer again after his murdering, sex maniac, lunatic colleagues again threaten all sorts of nasty things to him. He expected to be treated humanely, like the way he treated the four collegiates in cold blood ...
That’s not asking too much, is it? Yet, it’s hard to respond to Bryan’s “respectful” request to prison authorities. Christians are taught to always forgive, even the worst of the worse, as Christ forgave the traitor Judas. On the other hand, one has to scratch one’s head as to what Bryan expected when he plea bargained for his miserable life. Judas, it will be recalled, also seemed baffled by the fall out from his betrayal of God Himself and he wound up hanging himself.
We can pray for all those in prison. And we should. But we also know that Bryan’s fate is not going to be a pretty one. Nor should it be. At least, he can give us all another valuable, if very old, lesson. Recall, too, the old saying
for those still among the living, living a “normal” life: “But for the grace of God, there go I.”
