Marxism: The Greatest Con Story Ever Told

Letter to Ephesians: We’re told con artists have made capitalism unbearably flawed for 250 years & “that might not be so bad.” No kidding. For over 100 years now, Socialism’s con artists have shown Karl Marx & his disciples didn’t solve the problem, but made it worse ...

The WJS story suggested the widely argued view that capitalism has an inherent flaw in its economic system aka “greed.” In fact, it says, “many [of its greed enabling] business practices fall into a legal gray area, which is by design.” According to U of California law professor Frank Partnoy, the American legal system is largely & purposely based on precedent, not ironclad statues, “leaving some wiggle room for questionable business practices … The optimal amount of fraud is not zero,” he says. “In other words, a few bad apples among entrepreneurs haven’t spoil the bunch – and some of them have planted the seeds for growth.” In fact, the article concludes, “America’s transformation during the 19th century from an agrarian backwater into a global power was captained by men who engaged in maneuvers that would be completely illegal today but weren’t at the time. Those tactics included secretly cornering slivers of the financial markets & ‘watering’ stock – defrauding investors by issuing shares well above their book value.”

Ok. So con artists like villainous speculators Jay Gould wound up helping build the nation into what it is today. We get it. And we get why so many folks get so steamed about it that they let themselves get radicalized by Marxist rhetoric that pretends to offer the “solution” to capitalism’s greedy bunch. Problem has always been, however, the Marx solution has always replaced greedy capitalists with greedy Marxists who are not only incompetent but have the overwhelming power of the incompetent Marxist government to share in the fraudulent spoils.
