Mighty Men Are Godly, Mighty Mice Not So

Too many men have had to suffer the suffering gender gnomes’ insufferable sniveling over innate male masculinity they ignorantly have called “toxic.” Finally, “American churches are successfully appealing to young men hungry for a sense of purpose” & desire to be men.

One church in particular, says a WSJ opinion piece by Rachel Wolfe, “Many young men are finding [here] a counterpoint to liberal social mores.” Says one interviewee: “When you come here, you learn your masculinity is not toxic.” The “here” is Tabernacle Church, where 35 or so teen boys had just listened to a sermon on Ecclesiastes 9:10, “Whatsoever thy hand findeth to do, do it with thy might.” They had just teamed up to do some volunteer landscaping work for the church & pastor B.J. Holt connected that physical chore to the famous Biblical passage on God’s loving any person’s commitment to any endeavor ... and pride in doing it well. The pastor went on to explain the reality that real men have since the beginning of the species needed to provide for themselves & families. And, he added, it takes a lot of “faith” to be a man of faith these woke days.

Indeed, contrary to the liberal propaganda they are constantly being subjected to, “God designed men with an innate desire to be a provider, even if that’s just providing for themselves and being productive ... So, when they’re not fulfilling that, they do feel lost.” And yet, libs keep harping like the devil on how bigoted, i.e., sinful they are for these innate callings. As a result, the pastor said, “Young American men are struggling. They are falling behind in school, floundering in the workforce and often simply failing to launch.” The antidote, he argued, is that “need of a sense of purpose or simply a good reason to get up in the morning.” Pastor Holt didn’t say it, but might as well have added, “I’m ok, you’re ok. Don’t listen to the devils telling you you’re not ok for being a real man instead of some lib pussycat.”
