NY Times Admits: Pot Turns Us Into Zombies

Letter to Philippians: Isn’t it time to get real about the harm marijuana has & can do? And to admit how big a mistake it is to legalize its consumption? Even the hopelessly progressive NY Times now says the US “has gone too far in accepting & promoting its use.”

Pot heads, read it and weep in the Times op ed titled, “It’s Time for America to Admit That It Has a Marijuana Problem.” As the Fox News story reminded, “This is a stark departure from the publication’s longtime support of making marijuana mainstream. In a 2014 editorial, the Times argued the federal ban on the drug should be repealed & the decision should be left up to the individual states.” So, what’s changed? Today’s editorial geniuses apparently can see through their own smoke and mirrors, are acknowledging many of its pro-open pot predictions were wrong and that marijuana’s legalization has led to more health as well as legal problems and even more widespread usage than ever imagined in their progressive minds.

In fact, cited studies now show that pot usage is even greater than alcohol consumption, e.g., “between 1992 & 2022, daily marijuana use became about 15 times more common. Medical experts, the Times noted, are finally coming out and warning “Cannabis is definitely addictive, interferes with performance & memory.” Then again, were now being told that SMOKING marijuana is also UNHEATHY since it contains carcinogens, tar & other dangerous crap. The Times and Fox went on. But, the data no longer lies. We have a choice. Live free of all addictive drugs or live in a Zombie society.
