Ought Schumer Apologize 4 Crazy TSA Lines?

Letter to Romans: Since ICE has a MASSIVE $75 BILLION slush fund to keep going as is thru 2029 thanks to prior legislation, isn’t it the height of STUPIDITY for Dems to keep shutting down the rest of DHS funding, including TSA? And as terrorism strikes the homeland?

Yet, as Fox News recently noted, Schumer, Schiff & Booker, The Three Kings of Shutdown Land, deflected blame for their own refusal to fully fund DHS until … drum roll … ICE operations are radically altered to fit their open border & illegal alien coddling mantra. Schumer was clear when he suggested hell itself would freeze over before he caved to President Trump’s insistence that the nation’s security would not be held hostage to the Democrats’ ICE demands. Meanwhile, the nation has suffered several terrorist attacks by radicalized citizens screaming Islamic terrorist slogans as they tried to kill Americans. AND, the elites & progressives the Democrats supposedly hold dear to their hearts, have been forced like everyone else to sometimes wait 4 hours in airport security checkpoints across America just to board.

The WSJ editorial board also clearly pointed the finger, but at Schumer, not Trump, in its op ed “Put Chuck Schumer on TSA Duty.” As the editors wrote, “at one airport, half of the airport-security staff didn’t show up [because they weren’t getting paid] thanks to the Senate Democratic shutdown.” Other coverage detailed how scores of TSA officials have QUIT & more are expected to do so if the shutdown continues. One pundit offered that the long delays & cancellations at airports is bad enough but not funding the Coast Guard & other DHS agencies tasked with national security protection will leave “blood on Democrats’ hands” should even more murderous terrorist attacks unfold. The WSJ had a suggestion to at least end the “crazy TSA lines.” If he won’t fund DHS, the editors said Schumer “ought to go down to JFK Airport, put on a uniform and help. While he’s there, he can offer apologies to the public in person.”
