Redistricting Circus’s Circular Legality

Letter to Ephesians: Dems finally admit immigrants are needed to rig redistricting while businesses still whine about needing cheap labor BUT neither ever concedes Congressional seating was intended to reflect CITIZENSHIP or how LEGAL aliens always had a shot at American Dream.

The Fox News coverage had published a viral clip showing a House Dem admitting the “Quiet part out loud,” i.e., how one conservative reacted to the news by accusing the party of trying to “hijack democracy.” Earlier reports suggest another cynical Democratic strategy to affect the makeup of Congress is to “dump” thousands of foreigners, legal or not, into targeted communities, like NYC or Minneapolis, to increase their foreign-born candidates’ chances in local elections there. Never mind the election laws. Or, try to change them in your favor? How else, conservatives rationalize, can you explain the election and re-election of such bizarrely radical representatives as AOC, Tlaib, Omar and so on?

Seldom mentioned for some reason by Dems or their MSM allies is that the US Supreme Court has always acknowledged redistricting can be a knockout drag out fight in each of the states BUT has consistently required adherence to several Constitutional lines in the sand, including the counting be based on “eligible voters.” In other words, disingenuous arguments like “illegals have the exact same rights as citizens” are bogus from the get go. So, too, undocumented migrants and the businesses that use them have always had LEGAL means (e.g., green card) to enter and work in the USA after being properly vetted by the boss. Yes, it’s easier to jump the line by sneaking in ahead of the next dreamer. But, as Dems in Congress keep reminding, “No one is above the law.”
