SoS Marco Seward Is USA’s Fixer

Letter to Romans: Marco Rubio has become as indispensable a confidant to Trump as SoS William Seward was to Lincoln: From advising on Iran’s nuke meltdown to Ukraine’s eye in Putin’s puss to arresting narco-terrorist Maduro to making Greenland the 51^st state.

Sure, VP Vance is No. 47’s No. 2 & will likely be the GOP’s candidate for POTUS. But it’s impossible not to notice that the once fierce Cuban critic of Trump has literally surfaced in the center of nearly every international hot spot confronting the USA in the last 12 breathtaking months. As the WSJ opined: “Secretary of State Rubio now has perhaps the riskiest assignment of his career, successfully guiding US policy in Venezuela while protecting his [own] political ambitions.”

The editors go on to explain how Catholic Cuban “Rubio has long dreamed of changing Latin America. Embracing MAGA opened the door.” Recall how Rubio had once called Trump “con artist” while Trump retorted by calling out “Little Marco.” Yet, the con man obviously saw something special in the little rat and vice versa. Among other things, they seem to share a remarkable gift for using common sense in the world of brutal politics, a willingness to gamble on the global stage and, yes, even an unshakable faith in God and/or Destiny. And, oh, they both love sports aka competition. Somehow, while some Trump aids in the past fell out of favor over real or imagined “loyalty” issues, Rubio has increasingly endeared himself to Trump by speaking his mind freely BUT backing his boss to the hilt when he makes a decision & gives his marching orders. Consider Trump’s order to arrest Maduro. Even though Rubio had expressed concerns over how Venezuela could be run afterwards, he went on national tv to warn the world not to test the president because doing so “is not going to turn out well – he means what he says.” So, don’t be surprised if Seward’s Alaska purchase isn’t a precursor to Rubio’s Greenland.
