There Is A Reason For Jails Under the Sun

Letter to Romans: It’s naturally Christian to feel a tad sorry for violent criminals going to jail but only a fool can’t see the need to protect their community & loved ones in the future. Is a public policy of mass incarceration any kind of an answer?
It sort of is, according to the Fox News story titled, “A former BLM activist goes all in on mass incarceration.” Prager U host & personality Xaviaer DuRousseau told the news outlet, law abiding citizens are seldom if ever seen in court. "It’s very easy to not go to jail. I’ve been Black for 29 years. I’ve never even been close to a courtroom in that capacity … Obey the law and you’ll be able to live a beautiful life.” DuRousseau is obvious pissed at the obvious crime rates plaguing so many Sanctuary Cities. But he qualifies his incarceration call: “When it comes to mass incarceration, I do not mean just going and arresting random people on the streets. I mean going and mass incarcerating the criminals that are on the street.”
Oh. Chicagoan DuRousseau means he wants the progressives in charge of the big cities to enforce the law as it exists … but do not out of some naïve notion that Jesus wanted murderers, rapists & arsonists roaming the streets of Jerusalem. If they'd only kept their oath of office, THAT would put a whole lot of violent criminals now being given a progressive pat on the back side where the legislature thought they should be aka The Big House Built Just For Them. Also being born & raised on the South Side of Chicago, I feel for bro’ DuRousseau.” But it’s also important for everyone to understand what America’s Rule of Law really stands and calls for: Obey the law or pay the price. Simple. As was Jesus’ Sermon on the Mount on how to live a good Christian life.
