Trump Ordered to SNAP His Fingers in OT?

Letter to Ephesians: When MNF’s Chris Collingsworth joked a distant shot of the Capitol Bldg looked “calm” as Seahawks clobbered the hometown team, he could rightly have said “chaotic” instead as federal shutdown goes into OT & food stamp money dries up …

Perhaps nothing illustrates how dysfunctional our federal government has become better than two progressive judges who ordered the Trump Administration to keep sending out the SNAP money to millions even though, thanks to the shutdown due to an ongoing stalemate in Congress, the food stamp program has run out of money. President Trump was essentially ordered to keep the ever-expanding spigot going by tapping into an “emergency” account, as if he could snap his fingers. One problem is, however, that current law appears to forbid the Administration from doing so and even if it doesn’t, some commentators have noted that emergency kitty couldn’t cover the next month’s scheduled payouts. Little wonder, then, Trump promised to do whatever it takes to do as the judges demanded, PROVIDED they can “clarify” exactly how existing law allows him to do so ... and, maybe give him a tip on how to legally raid Fort Knox.

Meanwhile, Secretary Brooke Rollins released a recent study aka audit of 29 states cooperating aka admitting how many illegal aliens are being fed taxpayers’ food stamp money illegally. The result? “We’ve uncovered massive fraud” in the SNAP program. After noting two blue states had sued to stop the audit, Rollins added: “The Democrat Party has turned its back on working Americans & built its entire strategy around protecting illegal aliens. They know if the handouts stop, those illegals will go back home & Democrats will lose 20+ seats after the next census.” Well, anyone could have predicted this level of insanity in the Swamp. Even sports guru Collinsworth.
