Trump to Naifs: Iran Will Never Have A-Bomb

Letter to Romans: Schumer said Trump’s belated “war time speech” was worst ever, but he’s never listened to his own rants. Fact: It was better late than never & laid out a compelling need to end the Islamic Republic’s quest for an A-Bomb & destroy Chuck’s deluded world.

That was the conclusion of the WSJ’s editorial board, which opined, “The President made his best case so far for attacking the regime in Tehran ... he should have made [it] at the outset, but it was still essential for Americans to hear it. The most important message we heard is that he’s not ending the war until the job is done, and Iran’s leaders would be wise to act accordingly.” The reason for finishing the job is that the job was needed to stop the “lunatic” leaders bent on blowing up the world. As the President emphasized, the Iranians had admitted in “negotiations” of coming within days of enriching enough uranium to build nearly 10 A-bombs and, later shot off missiles that could reach every European capital. The editors conceded “You can nitpick that he exaggerated the immediacy of when Iran would have a bomb or have missiles capable of hitting America … But only a naif would believe the ayatollahs weren’t bent on both.”

The naifs in Congress, EU and NATO needed to face the truth, of course, if still not believe it. Yet, as the WSJ knew, “Someone had to stop them, and Mr. Trump acted when other Presidents and world leaders would not.”
