US Moment of Truth for Mexico & Cartels?

Letter to Ephesians: 26 suspected cartel members were just sent packing to US on top of 29 others earlier this year. Yet, we’re told the drug gangs can’t be dismantled cause they “run the prisons.” If true, why haven’t the gansters simply opened the prison doors to keep running wild OUTSIDE?

It’s “complicated,” we’re told. The WSJ reports that the expelled cartel men includes “members of top criminal organizations facing drug charges in the US” thanks to increased pressure by the Trump Administration to defang if not blow up the Mexican cartels causing havoc in the states or face possible US military intervention. Mexico has been in talks with the US, which are expected to result in a deal that would forestall any unilateral US military action on Mexican soil. Mexico’s President still insists “We would never permit, never, the US Army ... to step on Mexican territory.” Yet, she doesn’t seem to see a problem with letting the cartels stomp on US soil; she regularly sites supposed limits placed upon Mexican authorities by legislative & constitutional red tape, as well as rampant bribing of officials with untold monies

obtained from warring cartels’ drug trade. More than 1,500 people, the paper says, have been killed and another “2,000 are missing or believed to have been kidnapped in a civil war engulfing the two leading factions of the Sinaloa cartel.”

Well, it’s understandable that Mexico has its hands full. Yet, if it can’t defeat its drug cartels with its own police & military, there’s plenty of historical precedent that says the US police & military can do it for them so’s to stop the massive influx of illegal drugs into the states that kills untold thousands of Americans each year.
