WUDU at Airports & Muslim vs West Voodoo

Letter to Romans: How’d an Islamic prayer rug get into the Vatican & Muslim foot wash basins get installed in Texas Airports? I’ll go out on a limb & say Jesus would never support a statue of Jupiter in Herod’s Temple or Jefferson permit one of Zeus on Capitol Hill …
Perhaps the overriding Q is, “Has Western Civilization lost its mind as the Islamic Republic of Iran wars with it over the last 50 years & even chants “Death to America & Israel?” Another: “Has the West accepted that death wish as its woke open borders policies blind it to the humanitarian dangers of millions of Muslims (or any impoverished third world group of migrants) crossing into its territories since 2010?” True, that prayer rug reportedly in the Vatican’s research library was excused as a “basic private & temporary kindness” to visiting Muslim researchers. But even Catholics attending mass at St. Peter’s Basilica have to rough it on hard as hell benches. It took Texas Governor Abbott to call WUDUs installed or planned for two Texas airports “illegal” since the US Constitution forbids favorable government treatment to any one religion.
In doing so, Gov. Abbott may have also reminded the world Christianity is not a foot stool to be stepped on. It’s also a reminder of Western Civilization’s unique commitment to the once revolutionary idea that “All Men Are Created Equal;” & that it’s sacred to US. One might also call it the Paul Revere like WUDU warning to be heard around the world that visitors to the US are welcome, but only so long as they obey our laws & respect our culture. And for those wanting to become citizens of the “Last Best Hope on Earth,” they must FIRST swear allegiance to its special liberties & make a good faith effort to assimilate like all those who came to our shores in the past.
