Christmas Tree Shortage Looms Time 4 Panic Purchase?

Forget the toilet paper shortages, Christmas tree manufacturers warned Fox viewers to “Go out & buy today” as supply shortages & prices increases are looming. Wait. If true, does this reality rate us going into a crisis response mode? Isn’t the artificial tree bought last year capable of making it to the living room window for display this year as well? Does anyone smell a little bit of PR stunt here … that actually could trigger you know what?
“What we’re saying to consumers is” high demand coupled with nationwide supply shortages are limiting stock & driving up retail prices ahead of the holiday season,” said National Tree Co. CEO Chris Butler. “What we’re saying … is act now, go out & buy today. The peak week for buying Christmas trees is around that Thanksgiving time & we think by that point the shelves might be quite empty.”
Thanks for the tip, Chris. I think I might be quite satisfied suffering through Christmas 2021 with the 2020 model tree I bought from you guys last year.
