DOJ Tanks Sneaky Plan To Pay Separated Illegals $900K

Biden’s DOJ dropped its plan to pay foreign parents up to $900K for being separated from their kids under Trump’s “zero tolerance policy” & after sneaking them across the Mexican border. It was an idiotic if not illegal “plan” from the get go and triggered an outcry in the U.S. not heard since “Remember the Alamo!”

Still, a DOJ spokesperson insisted to Fox News that “while the parties have been unable to reach a global settlement agreement at this time, we remain committed to engaging with the plaintiffs and to bringing justice to the victims of this abhorrent policy.” Ironically, fact check says prior Administrations had regularly separated illegally entered children from their parents and were even put in the supposed “cages” during the Obama era, yet an angry ACLU’s Lee Gelernt told the WSJ “politics” of the moment forced DOJ’s hand. “We are hardly naïve that politics sometimes plays a role in Justice Dept decisions but it is shameful that it happened when the lives of little children are at stake. History will not look kindly on the Biden administration’s decision not to stand up for these small children.”

Perhaps. But don’t count on history favoring almost ANYTHING Mr. Biden gets involved in (or, doesn’t get involved in). Might the ACLU blame for once the little children’s parents for putting them through this expected ordeal for breaking a host country’s laws? Or, Congress for letting chaos at the border reign? Or, maybe sue the many fellow NFPs and activists who openly enable the common but tiring practice of entering kids into our country by hook or crook, claiming asylum with little or no grounds, and daring America to do something about it?
