Fickle Phelps Finds Transgender Fairness In Level Field

Michael Phelps was right telling CNN a woke NCAA needs to re-establish a “level playing field” for its men, women & trans athletes but may be wrong saying “it’s complicated.” How about the NCAA just get its brains out of its butt & create the 3rd category it laid seeds for when 1st allowing gender lines to be blurred?

Of course, the festering controversy over fairness being compromised by having biological men compete with biological women because they “chose” to do so was growing. But, it inevitably reached a peak as the nation watched Schwarzenegger look alike, Lia Thomas, destroy one women’s swimming record after another as everyone prepared for the mother of all games, The Olympics in Beijing, that paragon city of equality. But, the NCAA can keep playing with chemicals & test tubes to determine “fairness” all it wants, a “level playing field”, one that is seen as having any shot at being perceived as truly “fair” by most, can only be achieved by a third, entirely separate “Trans” category of athlete.

Sure the cost to the NCAA would be enormous … as it was when it said it was forced by federal law to push (and make money off of) women’s sports just as they do for men. But, then, the decorated millionaire Michael could explain to the agency’s geniuses how much new REVENUE they can again make in the long run with specialized tv broadcast rights (oh, the delightful new programming possibilities!) & advertising moulla derived from it, not to mention an endless array of new licensing schemes for logos, jerseys & shoes. Supreme Court Justice Sotomayor want to weigh in as to legality? On 2nd thought, maybe Michael, who has worked with many lawyers, was right about this debate getting complicated.
