MSM Morgan Makes More Trump Mince Meat?

Piers Morgan & Donald Trump can’t seem to live with or without one another as they perpetually “fire” broadsides at one another in a rarely honest media war of words, the latest salvoes airing on Fox Nation.

The Fox News contributor related in a recent story how it all started when he won Mr. Trump’s “The Apprentice” show precisely because he was perceived as one mean S.O.B. who couldn’t miss succeeding in business for seeing & telling it like it is. During No. 45’s presidency, the British pundit often hailed Mr. Trump as the Second Coming of Christ, but at other times portrayed him almost as if he were the devil, for this, that, or the other policy. Fast forward, to Monday’s launch of a new streaming show Mr. Morgan produced for Fox Nation & News Corps featuring an interview from hell with the former president. As Morgan recalls, Mr. Trump was beyond furious just before that interview after being fed Morgan quotes by a secret trouble-maker calling him the most unappealing names. Supposedly shocked at the published quotes, Trump not only graciously did the interview, but it lasted for as many as 80 minutes & covered every hot-button topic imaginable, before Morgan asked about the Jan. 6 riot & election loss, upon which you know finally walked away.

As reported in the WSJ (which is owned by the Murdoch family, as is Fox & NewsCorp), Mr. Trump has denied that account: “Piers Morgan, like the rest of the Fake News Media, attempted to unlawfully & deceptively edit his long & tedious interview with me … He wanted to make it look like I walked out on the interview when my time limit of 20 minutes went over by an hour.” But, lost in all the suspicious hype is how badly Morgan and other media types need Mr. Trump’s notoriety to drive ratings (as he always said they did).
