On 7th Day WNBA Rested & Ignored “Women”

Letter to Romans: Being a sports fanatic, I empathize with the social & legal dilemma trans athletes face. But I gotta ask y’all: Isn’t the transgender debate over women’s sports about protecting women sports & NOT about excluding a biological male who decided to exclude herself from the boys club?

True, it’s anyone’s constitutional right to choose to pick & roll. But the nation’s carefully designed laws provide for a level playing field & do not authorize the surgical or drug point shaving that’s being sold by today’s political left. Is it ironic that the loudest advocates of the inclusion argument consist largely of college educated WOMEN in non-sport careers who don’t have a clue about how hard a biological female needs to work to rise to the top of their game, whatever it is? And is it even more ironic that the WNBA seems to be mostly taking the side of transgender athletes? That is, in doing so, they bizarrely ignore the “W” in their own league’s title.

Yet, consider the Babylon Bee’s story relating how “Coaches across the WNBA spoke to members of the press this week & admitted that they had no idea what the ‘W’ in WNBA stands for.” For instance, Indiana Fever head coach said, “We’ve tried to take our best guess, but we’re totally stumped. Whale? Watch? Wind? There’s no way to know …” How many guesses did this “leader” need to say, “Women”?
