Patriots To Beat DSA Bolsheviks at Ballot Box

Letter to Romans: DSA’s Marxist “plan” to destroy America as we know it IS ridiculous on its face BUT calling for the DOJ to jail “those Communists” is implausible too. And it wouldn’t pass muster under our Constitution & its ballot box solution to goofy ideology.

The down & dirty is this: The DSA’s recently released “in your face” platform is ridiculous “on its face” because it calls for the abolition of the Presidency, Senate & Supreme Court along with the Pentagon, Police & Prisons. This Marxist bird quacks, waddles & flies like it comes from Soviet Russia of WWII vintage. And that’s why some social media posts are starting to suggest we “outlaw communism” & enforce the never enforced “Communist Control Act". But the reason that 1954 Cold War law was never triggered is because it specifically targeted the International Communist Party & its affiliated controlled by Soviet Russia. In other words, it was framed as a national security measure. Congress wanted to stop a known foreign entity from physically attacking us with its foreign agents if not army. Whether it was justified was never tested in court. But today’s Supreme Court would surely rule 9-0 that any attempt to use it now to jail American Communists let alone “socialists” for their political beliefs would be a no brainer violation of the First Amendment.

That doesn’t mean Lincoln’s “Last Best Hope of Earth” doesn’t have an arsenal of legal weapons to protect itself against home groan anarchists who act out their fantasies. There’re many OTHER longstanding laws on the books criminalizing espionage, sedition & treason; there’s also the more recent laws prohibiting the giving of material support to terrorists. But the Constitution’s preferred solution to those wanting to destroy the American Way of Life or even chanting “Death to America” is to beat the crap out of them at the ballot box.
