Progressives Need Not Fear Musk’s Twitter

The WSJ called out “More Hilarious Wailing at Elon Musk” for the EV titan’s supposed conservative conspiracy to use his new Twitter toy to block clean air Dems … after the progressives hailed Trump’s banning.

“Wait, you mean Twitter could ban one party’s political speech?” the editorial board wondered out loud. “My, what a progressive panic Elon Musk’s $44 billion purchase of Twitter has inspired. MSNBC host Ari Melber [for example] warns that Mr. Musk could hack the political debate by having the website “secretly ban one party’s candidate” or “turn down the reach of their stuff, and turn up the reach of something else and the rest of us might not even find out about it until after the election.”

Hello. Ever hear of “it takes one to know one”? As Fox’s Tucker Carlson recently noted, maybe the left’s fears over Mr. Musk’s acquisition are justified, maybe not; but, Tucker reminded, the Melbers of the world still have Google, Facebook and most of the MSM to secretly OR PUBLICLY do the same.
