Smollett Bucking 4 Insanity Call In Tangled Hoax Webb?

So Jussie Smollett “set the record straight” by testifying at his racial hoax trial he had sex & did drugs with one of his accusers? And, that’s why the sex partner & other accuser falsely accused him of faking his lynching by crazed Trump bigots in the most blue city on earth? And, btw, his offer to pay the accusers $3,500 was really an extortion plot by them?

Dunno if Dan Webb, the ex-U.S. Attorney for Chicago & now Special Prosecutor in the Windy City’s most goofy case in years, could believe his Brandon-ing ears as he further cross-examined Smollett for a second day. But, since “America’s No. 1 Criminal Law” attorney didn’t break out laughing once during this trial, he should be given some kind of newly-minted medal by the ABA's stodgy anti-trust division. The media this morning is making a big point about Smollett going ballistic when Webb read instagrams exchanged between the three amigos & their pot filled "rides" around the area the day before the alleged attack on Smollett which included the "N" word. The actor appeared to become incensed in hearing the word many black comedians use 50 times in a single appearance at the DC Improv & demanded he not "offend every black person in the room." With a straight face, Webb said it is not appropriate to "edit" evidence before the court, but Smollett could read the "N" crap himself instead, which he did, and we're told, "they moved on." Huh? Did defense choke when they saw & heard Smollett read the offensive if not damning texts before the jurors?

Now, while most legal experts say Smollett’s taking the witness stand to call his accusers "liars" was a mistake because of the weight of evidence against him & his pathologically bizarre excuse making, maybe there’s some method to his defense team’s madness. Maybe the once popular Smollett was counting on his acting skills to make the jurors believe him. Or, maybe he purposely sounded goofy so the jurors would find him not guilty by reason of insanity. You never know. Smo may yet skate. If only he had added some cowbells to his testimony …
