Smollett Guilty, Loses His Empire & Maybe Clothes Too

Not only did Jusse Smollett’s bizarre testimony in his defense of racial hoax charges help convict him, but now the Empire actor stands to lose his clothes for perjury. It’s a win for all the real victims of racial and LGBT prejudice.

But, testifying he was being extorted after doing drugs & “making out” with one of his black accusers who actually helped stage the fake lynching in downtown Chicago by "pale face" men wearing a MAGA hat, then, yelling “This is Trump Country” was plainly a bridge too far for even the most sympathetic juror. Some how, you see, the cops had gotten to those opportunistic but cheap "liars" who he thought could be bought off for $3,500 & while President Biden, Kamala Harris & Michelle Obama believed him, it was a tale his own momma would have laughed at. Then, the verdict was even more a slam dunk as Smollett was up against Special Prosecutor Dan Webb, one time US Attorney for Chicago and widely considered one of the best trial lawyers in the nation. It was like taking candy from a baby brat. Webb surgically took apart every crazy word Smollett uttered in 6 "undeniable truths" that even Beelzebub couldn't deny.

As for the sentencing, Smollett stands to get maybe 3 years in the can, although hoaxes usually do not trigger big jail terms; that is, when the defendant has the sense to not testify at trial. Most legal experts had thought probation and community service was in the cards for Smollett … until he opened his big mouth for Webb to extract the truth.
