Smollett Hung Self With Neck-Tie, MAGA Hat Claims?

A black juror & ex-Chicago police chief say they “could not get past” convicted race hoaxer Jussie Smollett’s wearing a noose around his neck on the day-after, but Chicago whites knew “The Downtown Lynching” was bogus by “This Is Trump Country” claim.

“It didn’t add up,” said the only black juror on the panel convicting actor Smollett for lying to the police. “As an African American person, I’m not putting that noose back on at all,” Andre Hope told WLS-TV. He wasn’t the only Chicago black thinking the same. In an interview with Fox, black Eddie Johnson, who was Chicago police superintendent in January 2019 when Smollett said he was lynched, said almost the same thing: “I was concerned because I don’t think there’s many black people in America with a noose around their neck & wouldn’t immediately take it off.” Besides, Hope concluded, the weight of the evidence against the ex-Empire star was “overwhelming.”

Yet, as a white raised in Chicago & spending most of my professional life there, I’d suggest most whites in the Toddlin’ Town (90% of whom are liberals on most issues), immediately thought Smollett’s story was unbelievable by insisting two white men wearing red MAGA hats strung him up on a downtown street in full view of police cameras & shouted, “This is Trump Country,” when even the lampposts around nearby City Hall voted for Hillary Clinton, then, Joe Biden.
