Recall JFK & Bubba may never have used the offensive “F” word for publication, but they religiously practiced without preaching it. It’s also said Truman, Nixon, Ike, LBJ … and even Lincoln, were known to use assorted colorful lingo in private, esp when riled by public events. And, Andy Jackson had a parrot named Poll that, legend has it, swore like a sailor. Yet, even the freaking ever frank Chairman of the Board, Frank Sinatra, would have used “Forget So & So” to be PC when chastising a backstabber in his movies.

Well, it’s Christmas & the season of miracles after all; it’s about time even the incorrigible found a way to get along if not straightened out … with or without the help of spirits. Recall Ralphie in “Christmas Story” who hollered “Fudge” mom saw as “THE Big One” when accidentally dropping dad’s lug nuts in the snow while helping change a flat tire. It happens to the best of us. In Ralphie’s case, mom solved her son’s indiscretion with a bar of Lifebuoy soap in his potty mouth. Melania? How about some roll playing for a happy ending in 2024?
