Will Smith’s Bitch Slap Of Rock A Brick For All Times?

Will Smith’s bitch-slapping Chris Rock at the Oscars was not only a sick outburst at a bad joke but alarmingly captured on television in real time how sick much of our society (including the MSM) has become. Think how, in the past two years alone, individual and/or group anger (whether justified or not) has been taken to justify invasions, riots, arson, murder, human trafficking, bribery, extortion, perjury and fake news.
As they say in the Supreme Court: “One precedent leads to another.” Imagine after Smith’s “defense” of his open marriage and the “woman I love so much”, we all follow his example. Ok now to go into the grocery store and bitch slap the check out lady because she rang up the wrong price on a pound of meat meant for the family you love so much (btw: You apologize later after finding out the price rung up, 75% more than a month earlier, was correct and due to inflation not an evil checkout lady)? Pound on your local gas station attendant for charging $1 more per gallon at the pump than just 10 months ago, thereby making it impossible to buy beloved Johnny the baseball glove he dreamed of? Wallop the elementary school teacher for telling your kid you are a hopeless racist … and he BELIEVES the lie? Crotch kick the old man who gets on the elevator without a mask because you think he’s endangering the lives of your loved ones?
The list goes on. I recently saw Chris Rock’s brother, Tony, perform at the DC Improv. The audience was packed with black folks and I swear I heard the “N” word a couple dozen times. His humor was biting, but the audience was in stitches. And, while I’ll never understand how black comedians can in all conscience use that offensive word and get laughs out it … not one person in the audience walked up to Tony and bitch-slapped him. Wonder about the next show though …
