Most Baltimore High Schoolers Can’t Read This Post?

Everyone knows how crappy “education” in our inner cities can be yet it’s still shocking to see Fox report “Vast majority at Baltimore high school read at elementary level, some kindergarten.” What kind of future are these kids facing?
Some teachers are fed up as they have been for decades. One such teacher at Patterson High School in Baltimore, which boasts a “61% graduation rate & a nearly $12 million budget, shared with a Fox affiliate the standardized test results showing “77% of the school’s students” were reading “at the grammar school level at the beginning of the 2021-2022 year”. Fantastic, but … “Our children deserve better … they really do,” the teacher told Fox 45’s investigative team, Project Baltimore, on the condition of anonymity. “As a whole, the system has failed them.”
Sadly, this educational fiasco is happening elsewhere, as alluded to in Fox’s three-month series on Chicago’s Rooftop Pastor, Corey Brooks, who has repeatedly lamented that city’s also “broken” school system. Without the fundamental ability to read, there’s no job prospects, and without job prospects, these unprepared generation of kids are facing a life of poverty and/or crime … not unlike many of their ancestors living in cities controlled by “progressive” politicians.
