You ask, who is Davd Soul aka Darryl Van Duch to prognosticate on this potential electoral “turning point” in American history? Well, I have paid for Perfect Manhattans for $60 dollars a pop in Trump’s DC, NY & Chicago hotels. And I did brush up against Obama during his Senatorial coming out party at a white shoes Chicago law firm & half-believed the touch had cured my life-long struggle with migraine headaches. Then, there’s the 50 years of experience participating in local, state & national elections as an attorney, journalist or PR consigliere for both Democratic & Republican law firms, i.e., Jenner & Block, Winston & Strawn & Arnold & Porter. And I gotta say it appears an inexhaustible Donald is kicking reluctant until recently Barack’s butt. Consider the latter’s OJ Simpson-like “Do the Gloves Fit” Moment in Detroit. In trying to fire up the far-left crowd at an Abdul El-Sayed rally, Obama put on his best MLK face & reverend’s voice when complaining Hasan Piker’s bud was being wrongly accused by GOP ads. He insisted with a teary eye, Abdul & Co. are NOT “radicals or communists or jihadists.” Bingo. Count on THAT edited soundbite appearing in updated GOP ads prior to Nov. 3.

Far be it from pretending President Trump compares to ex-pres Obama as an orator. If I hear one more time that “no one has ever seen anything like this in history,” I’m going to apply for Trump’s open WH Press Secretary post. Nor is No. 47 a better basketball player than No. 44. (I’ve seen both shoot a jump shot.) Yet even Chicago’s messiah must be in awe of Trump’s stamina in blitzing on behalf of GOP candidates all over America. In terms of numbers & bluster, Trump’s leaving it all on the court of public opinion would beat his hero, President Teddy Roosevelt. The MSM’s polls are saying many of the state & local elections are a coin toss & will depend on “turnout.” We’ll soon see if Barack or Donald will have won THAT pivotal political contest when the final scores are “rigged,” er, announced 1-10-20-30 days after Nov. 3 and the 50 subsequent lawsuits are dismissed by Christmas.
