Where Born Again Fetterman Beats Them All

Letter to Ephesians: Pa's Dem Sen. John Fetterman’s ongoing recovery from a massive stroke is increasingly impressive as his ability to articulate complex policies shines compared to DNC’s favored 2028 presidential candidate aka The Word Salad Lady …

Not that Sen. Fetterman is now out of the medical let alone Cicero-oratory woods. Surely, one can occasionally detect pauses in his responses to media questions. As a life-long dyslexia sufferer that also can cause unexplained memory or recognition lapses, I can especially empathize with the Senator’s concession that he may always have to contend with having to work hard at concentrating on maintaining focus. He also still gets counseling for severe bouts of depression. Yet, Mr. Fetterman’s very survival of that life-threatening blood clot … plus what doctors later revealed was a pre-existing heart condition called cardiomyopathy that probably contributed to the stroke … was itself somewhat miraculous.

And now, to listen to him beat the pants off the Democrats’ ex-VP Harris & ex-POTUS Biden in publicly discussing the Constitution, Rule of Law, war & patriotism has been downright inspiring to objective members of both parties (though few publicly admit it). But perhaps even more inspiring is Sen. Fetterman’s refreshing ability to maintain a nonpartisan BALANCE in his views … including calls for UNITY … that most of the nation’s most visible & touted political wordsmiths have been unable to match. Think about the depressingly partisan if not divisive speeches made over the 250th by many of our politicians. At times, some seemed to say they would have re-written Paine’s “Common Sense” in 1776 to tout British colonialism & trash the Founding Father’s efforts to create a great if imperfect nation. But then, there’s the Gospel of our born again John.
