Barack Says No To Blind Biden’s “Better” Open Border

Barack Obama had the honesty to say on Good Morning America that an open border is “unsustainable.” He did so, natch, without calling Biden out for the most recent “heartbreaking” migrant (& other) crises his “better” policies have caused. We’ll take Mr. Obama’s half a loaf since only a blind man among us could not see what’s been going on down under.

Presumably, what No. 44 also suggested was that HIS mini-wall, if not Trump’s souped-up version, would be useful in stemming today's chaos on the border. One suspects a more thoughtful Obama would also likely go easy on Biden’s over-generous perks to foreigners that cannot help but incentivize their arrival at our currently open border.

Mr. Obama predictably went on to note the “other” obvious, as does even Joe’s teleprompter, that the current immigration system is “dysfunctional” & needs “comprehensive reform”. But, presidents have been saying that for years, while a deeply divided Congress continues to be unable or unwilling to solve the Gordian Knot it created long ago. If only Joe weren’t causing so many other crisis … like the botched Afghanistan exit, Iran’s/North Korea’s nuclear proliferation, terrorism’s comeback, contradictory Covid mandates & the economy’s inflation coupled with stagnation … he might be able to have his handlers put the needed pressure on Congress to do its job “better” than he’s been doing his?
