Ben & Jerry Bite Their Tongue, Chew On Hypocrisy

I love Ben & Jerry’s “Cherry Garcia” but not so the lib founder’s political cherry picking hypocrisy as the rich duo diss Israel but not Hamas … or any PC offenders they sell their creamy jubilees to.

As Fox News recently reported, “Ben & Jerry’s co-founders Ben Cohen & Jerry Greenfield are under fire after they failed to come up with a reason why they refuse to sell their ice cream in parts of Israel over political disagreements but do business in areas of the US where they disagree with laws & policies. The progressive ice cream company has been vocal babout social justice issues & announced earlier this year they will no longer be selling their deserts in ‘Occupied Palestinian Territory,” the West Bank & Gaza Strip, thereby hurting Palestinians more than their targets, as is usually the progressive way.

Having already cashed in on the ice cream cash cow & now serve only as company PR hawksters, Ben & Jerry appeared on “Axios on HBO” where host Alexi McCammond asked why they don’t just remove their ice cream from Israel altogether. “Well, I disagree with the US Policy, we couldn’t stop selling in the US,” Cohen shrugged. Huh? McCammond pushed harder, saying “You guys are big proponents of voting rights … why do you still sell ice cream in Georgia? Texas, abortion bans. Why are you still selling there?” Fox says “Cohen appeared dumbfounded, chuckled & shrugged again before adding in a ramble, “That’s a good question. I don’t know what that would accomplish. We’re working on those issues … I don’t know. I think you ask a really good question. And I think I’d have to sit down & think about it for a bit.” Yo, don’t bite your tongue while you’re chewing on it.
