CNN Stelter Sees Cheap Slogans In Others, Not Self

CNN's Brian "The Brain" Stelter suggests parents' rights & CRT are "cheap shots" in the aftermath of the GOP sweep in Virginia not realizing ... da ... that the parental revolt was precisely over the "dog whistles" leftists & radical academics have been using to "program" their child to become little progressives from hell. But, in the (hind) end, Stelter & his ilk fail to realize like a Baby Boomer that racism after WWII was taught to be the vile thing it always was.
Growing up on the 1950's on the South Side of Chicago, my elementary school lessons unmistakably explained in quite a bit of detail how the Constitutional Convention after the Great Revolution was in turmoil over slavery & only a silly 11th hour "compromise" got the last state to sign on to a USA. The 50s history lesson books also made it quite clear how slavery was considered evil by a growing number of white abolitionists, and despite more "compromises" and a goofy "Dred Scott" decision by the Supreme Court, a Civil War was pretty much inevitable. Us kids also learned how over 250K white men died to not only save the Union but free the slaves (thanks in part to Abe Lincoln, the Great Emancipator). Yes, we were told how after Mr. Lincoln, the loony KKK in white sheets terrorized black folks for years to come and how ugly segregation took root until well after WWII. No, not every single detail of racism was revealed to us pre-teens. For instance, that some Native American tribes practiced slavery and were at constant war with one another as well as white people taking over their land. Nor did anyone ask the question (as they do of Holocaust victims today) "why didn't the slaves revolt?" although of course some did.
But, if progressives are really interested in "educating" and "bringing unity" maybe it's time to stop finger pointing and be really honest. And, it's time for media demagogues like Stelter to go suck an organic egg.
