Marijuana Drivers Turn Road to Deadly Pot

Letter to Ephesians: Ok, pot heads. It’s time to get your sky-high a** out from behind the wheel as a new study “finds more than 40% of drivers who died in car accidents over the last 6 yrs had elevated levels of marijuana in their blood…”
We’ve all experienced intoxicated drivers not only daring an ugly death for themselves but for others trapped in their “influenced” driving skills. The alcohol driver can be seen with head bobbing & eyes squinting at the road, while the marijuana user can be seen through a cloud of smoke bouncing up & down in the seat. It’s always been assumed whiskey drivers weaving along the highway were a menace. But the WSJ’s editorial board finally also came to the too obvious conclusion about their pot counterparts: “High-on-pot drivers are contributing to more highway accident deaths.” The editors bluntly asked: “How much social & public-health damage will Americans suffer before doing a U-turn on marijuana promotion?
Good Q. Where the editorial missed the turn-off, however, is in failing to plainly state that driving drunk from booze or pot alike is criminal & any deaths resulting from should be assumed reckless aka felonious. In the case of pot & contrary to the pot industry’s PR BS, the drug nowadays is “5 times more potent than the weed that Boomers” grew old smoking. And the dividing line between drunk & still sober can be even harder to establish. Does it matter? Ain’t it true, editors, that in light of the evidence now available the best Rule of Law should be: If you drink or smoke don’t drive, cause there’s nowhere to hide from the law?
