Senseless Death By Car At 127 MPH Diminishes Us All

TMZ reported how “tearful” ex-Raiders WR Henry Ruggs was after plowing his Corvette into the back of a 23-yr-old woman’s Rav4 at a 127 mph clip, causing a deadly fire that killed her & her dog. Charged with felony DUI “resulting in death” as well as “reckless driving,” Ruggs could face up to 46 years in prison. Fair?

CNN & other news outlets published a heart-breaking statement by the victim’s grieving Tintor family through its attorney: “Tina’s tragic loss has devastated her family beyond a grief they could ever comprehend. Family was everything to Tina and she was the light of her parents’ life. Tina lived in Las Vegas since she was a baby. She loved her 3-yr-old Golden Retriever, Max, who passed alongside her Tuesday morning.”

The statement asked for privacy and said the family would make no other statements at this time. That’s fair for sure in what amounts to another senseless death that diminishes us all.
