Letter to Ephesians: Woke 2 still “Looks Pretty Crazy,” but it’s no more evident than in Democrats’ repackaging their Trump impeachment mania if they retake the House & their Plan B 25^th Amendment back up plan, even tho they tried to stick a senile Biden on voters …

That’s the first take of the WSJ’s editorial board & the details came a few days later in columnist Kimberley Strassel’s op ed titled “Buckle Up for a Democratic House.” What got the editors going was “wild news stories that keep piling up about the continued insanity of Woke 2,” despite AOC’s “recently waving away progressive excesses with a verbal shrug.” Exhibit A was a Boston Globe article about a lesbian bar STILL financially struggling from the COVID fiasco and STILL trying to sooth its left patrons “relaxed” safety rules. Noted the editors, “The response was outrage” too gross for an ordinary person to understand. Soon after, we’re told Stanford U apologized for using SI to transform the race & sex of a real student in a PR pic to capture the “real” diversity on campus; yet for some reason, AI was also used to make one of the female students look thinner.

Yet, it was Strassel who marveled at the “many grounds … the majority” has or is planning on finding “for impeaching President Trump” on the assumption Dems will control Congress in November. The columnist observed how “Speaker-in-waiting Hakeem Jeffries continues to play coy, insisting ‘facts’ will guide his party’s decisions on impeachments, investigations & legislation. Who is he kidding? The hard left is 18 months deep into its open plan to burn down the second Trump administration.” Strassel tried to count the ways without writing an op ed longer than “Les Misérables.” For starters, she alluded to Texas Rep Al Green having on file THREE impeachment resolutions with widespread Democratic support. Rep. John Larson & Tennessee’s Rep Steve Cohen offered yet more articles so’s not to be left out of the action. Then, Strassel recalls, “Even impeachment might not scratch the itch,” since “dozens of Democrats [have] called for relieving Mr. Trump of his duties via the 25^th Amendment.” She also counts “11 House committees gearing up to launch investigations into at least 26 separate topics.”
